COME WITH REVERENT REPENTANCE
We are approaching Yom Kippur.
The journey is drawing toward its appointed conclusion and today the focus is on: ATONEMENT.
Thank God for cleansing and approach Him with reverent repentance.
This is not casual repentance.
It is not performance.
It is not self-punishment.
It is a turning of the heart toward God with reverence.
Today, simplify.
Make room.
Deepen prayer.
Bring before God what needs to be brought.
Give thanks for cleansing.
And remember:
Teshuvah means return.
The question that has accompanied us from the beginning remains: What is God inviting me to return to?
Come honestly.
Come reverently.
Come ready to walk differently.
