The Watchman’s Creed

I will watch because the Lord has called me to watch.

I will search the Scriptures before I speak.

I will test every spirit and weigh every word by the written Word of God.

I will pursue truth over popularity, obedience over recognition, and holiness over influence.

I will not add to God’s Word, nor diminish from it.

I will speak with courage, but also with humility.

I will pray before I proclaim.

I will warn without fear and encourage without compromise.

I will guard my heart so I may faithfully guard the truth.

I will remember that discernment begins with submission to Christ.

I will stand upon my watch until the Lord speaks.

I will watch for His promises, His purposes, His warnings, and His return.

I will labor to rightly divide the Word of Truth and faithfully steward every revelation entrusted to me.

I will seek not merely to be heard, but to hear.

I will remember that every gift is given for service, every calling for stewardship, and every watch for God’s glory.

I am a servant of Jesus Christ. I am a keeper of His Word. I am a watcher upon the wall.

By His grace—

I will watch.

I will weigh.

I will walk.
