🌙 AT THE THRESHOLD OF 5787

Before we enter a new year, there is a moment to stop.

To stand at the watchpost.

To look back.

To listen.

To examine the way we have walked.

Today, as we stand at the threshold of 5787, I am reminded of the instruction from our Teshuvah 2026: 40 Days of Fasting & Prayer journey:

RELEASE.
RETAIN.
REPAIR.

What from 5786 must I release?

What has God taught me that I must retain?

What needs to be repaired before I move forward?

The threshold is not merely a place where one year ends and another begins.

It is a place of examination.

A place to give thanks.

A place to repent.

A place to recognize what God has been saying — and decide what we will do with it.

The watchman does not rush past the threshold.

We stop.
We look.
We listen.
We record.
We prepare.

Habakkuk said:

“I will stand at my watchpost…”

So today, before we cross over, take your place at the watchpost.

Ask the Lord:

What must I release?
What must I retain?
What must I repair?
What must I carry forward?

And then be still enough to hear.

5787 is approaching.
The Watchman is watching.
The Word is still speaking.

🌙 Shanah Tovah / A good and fruitful year as we enter 5787.
